DIY : Fire Starter
Get a rubber-rimmed glass canning jar (about $3 for a 1/2 liter size) and fill it with discarded corks (not plastic). Pour in some denature alcohol (around $3 a pint at the hardware store), seal the jar shut, a steep for 24 hours. Stack the firewood, newpaper and three corks. Carefully toss in a lit match.
This is a way to reuse wine corks and save a few bucks by not having to buy starter logs.
*Caution: Denature alcohol is very flamable, so keep jar closed tightly, away from the heat, and out of reach of children.

Exactly how is the stacking done - any visuals? And its dentatured alcohol. Where did you get this recipe? Gotta URL?
