Tip : Save for College
Upromise.com is another way for people to save for their childern's education. After parents link their credit, debit and/or grocery cards to the site, everytime they purchase certain brands, a percentage of the price can be transfered into their 529 plan.
I signed up, just registering my Ralphs Club and Vons grocery cards. I was also surpised at how many local restaurants we go to participate in the Upromise.com program.

This is free money that you could get from things you already buy or from restaurants that you might already frequent.
